Well i have suffered from the seized rear caliper syndrome big time, The rear disc ended up like a dish, i looked on ebay for the brembo p32 but nothing was showing, I nearly took a punt on a ducati 748 rear caliper, then spied this one, no details on it, just said new, with pads, hole centres 85mm, So i took a chance, it fitted straight on, no spacers, I took the brake line off and reversed it so the curved banjo is now on the caliper end, bled and all good to go, Also the brake line is nowhere near as close to the exhaust as it looks      | ||

Hmmmmm - Brembo p32...... So it is a 32mm twin piston brake caliper (I found after googling it). What is the piston size of the stock Buell 1125R rear caliper?? Thanks, John K. | ||

my bike had my exhaust tips on it from new, then one of my systems, which is nowhere near the brake line, so it couldn't have been heat i don't know the part number, i'll try and find out, the caliper and pads was £94 all in, brand new | ||

the last picture is deceiving, looks like the pipe is exiting on the brake line. | ||

yeah i know it does, in reality the line is a good 1/2" above and behind the tailpipe, can't get a pic to show it though | ||

I would love 2 know more info! Tried researching and it said all brembo rear calipers are 84mm so have no clue  but if you could provide more info and maybe a review? I'd give u prop's | ||

Nice! do you notice an improvement in the rear brakes? What are the parts that you need to do this conversion? just the Brembo caliper, brake pads? or do you need a new master cylinder and brake lines as well? (Message edited by bartone on March 29, 2012) | ||

the bike is still on the stand at the moment, i just got the caliper with pads inc. i'll email them and see if they know the part number as there's nothing on it. it may all go horribly wrong yet  | ||

There will be no issues with the brake line running near the exhaust. with the rear brake not operated there are open ports back to the fluid reservoir which has the capacity to deal with any expansion. |
