It's been three years since I had an S1 and it has taken that much time to get life in order. A career, house, and money in the bank. I fell in love with the XB Firebolt but a low mileage model here in Colorado is hard to come by lately. So long story short, I stumbled upon a black 1125CR at a HD dealership with a reputation steeped in the Buell heritage. In fact, the sales manager rode in on a Ulysses and we talked for quite some time about the bikes. I checked out the bike, and bought it. Big selling point was a documented work record of a new stator being installed last year to curtail all the problems everyone has had with this model. I pick it up Friday or Saturday depending on my schedule. I am very excited to not only have a new Buell in my life but one I thought I could never afford or even fathom riding. Paid slightly above blue book but with low low miles, a new stator, and excellent condition, I just went for it.

Just had to share this with everyone because I sure am not telling the wife for a while. Pics coming soon.

Did you get the black one they had?
Sounds like you talked to Dave at High Country.

I live in Longmont and have a 2008 1125R and an 09 Uly.

There are some really fun roads up in the hills, I love Peak to Peak Hwy.
Weekdays are best, no tourists and very few cops.

Welcome back to Buell.

Zack

Yup. Dave is an awesome guy. Really knows his stuff. He not only sold me on the bike, he sold me on the backing of peace of mind with the new stator.

Will look forward to meeting u sometime zack. Followed some of ur posts in the past.
