I'm in the market for a set of passenger pegs for my CR, but was curious whether other models would fit on my bike. When I bought her she didn't come with the brackets, previous owner removed them but never put them back on when he gave the bike back to the dealership due to a lost job. Shame I couldn't afford any when EBR was selling them and I always miss out on ebay sales since they have a terrible knack for being right when I have to pay bills Speak up if you've got a set for a decent price, shoot me a message. I'm looking to buy if the price is right but I'm not exactly in any rush (its still a little chilly and my girlfriend hasn't any gear... she doesn't like the cold so I'm riding solo for now) Also, while I'm at it, whats the story with that fancier pillion seat I've seen pics of? Where can I snag one of those? |

All the peg mounts are the same including the ones off the Firebolt and Lightning models. Only differences are the color depending on year and model it came off of. There is one exception the 2003 XB brackets are a little shorter, so if you get one of those there will be less leg room. Regarding that seat, it is rare and long discontinued, and my girlfriend loves it |

Bah, figures with the seat.... lame. Okay, so I keep losing auctions on reasonably priced (read, not triple digits for bare brackets) sets of brackets, so I think I'm going to try for one by one, mismatch em if I have to. None of them have the pegs or bits and pieces, where can I source those, and what all do I need? Buellparts seems to have all kinds of different pegs and springs and pins and shit but I don't have any pass pegs to use for reference so I'm not sure what I need to rebuild them once I have the brackets themselves. Any help? Pretty please? |

I've never shopped for the parts you need, but www.americansportbike.com is my first stop for anything. They have practically everything you need and Al's customer service is awesome |

I have the brackets and pegs from Loretta, hanging on the garage wall. She is strictly a solo ride... make me an offer.

I'll have to check the price on new stuff for you, things on ebay often sell for more than full dealer retail. The $300 fairing mounts come to mind. |
