I Think thats the Best way to improve the 1125, You Have My wheels turning, I've never been happy with the stock set up, Come over to the Garage Mahal and I'll help install the New Suspenders.

I just got the 1190RS Ohlins forks back with the AK-Gas internals. I have to say that even before installing them, they feel smoother than the Ohlins on compression and rebound. I can't wait to get them on the bike.

I know how good a revalved cartridge fork can feel (Traxxion or Racetech, in my personal experience), so if the AK GAS kit is that much of an improvement over a well-valved oil bath cartridge fork, it must be friggin' awesome!

Well I must say after a few hundred hard miles the Showa BP forks are fantastic! as is the Showa rear race shock. What a difference straight out of the box (with no adjustments) the stock shit does not even compare.
General Tso.. These forks are top shelf.
Unless you are a better rider than Jdugger,Higbee,May, or whom ever, I'll doubt you'll ever need more than this..

I'm looking forward to some even more exciting 2012 track days

P.S. Thanks DirtyDuk The Garage Mahal is second to none!!

Happy New Year BadWeb Bikers!!!

Well thanks but I'm no where near a may or Higbee. Not even in the same universe

Mike,

I'm certain I am not a better rider...

I installed the Showa Race Rear shock and agree it is much better than the stock unit. What is the biggest difference you noticed with the switch to the BPs?

The damping is better. They are firm but smooth.

Wanted to let you all know that after digesting all of the great input I decided to go with the AK-Gas cartridges which may only prove that in this case, I have may have fallen into the "more money than sense" category. I have a track day planned at VIR on 04/01 and 04/02. I'll be certain to post my impressions.
Thanks for the input.
