Throttlemeisters work for me:

http://throttlemeister.com/

A lot of folks sell them and they provide a throttle lock.

I will second the Throttlemiesters.I can also attest to their surviveability in the event of a crash.I went down on the right side at the track and it is scratched up but still works just fine. But I had to replace the handel bar: )

Has anyone tried both of them to see which works better?

I'm tending towards the heavy Throttlemeisters with the "birdshot in the handlebars" option - I like the idea of the cruise control for longer rides. I miss it from my old bike. : )
