Has anyone had their speedo lose it's mind and bounce around from 0 to 100 etc etc? Sometimes it will come to rest at zero for a minute or two and then it'll start working again.

Local HD just put on a new cluster (I have a gear indicator now WOOHOO!!) but alas that wasn't the ticket.

Any ideas?

*It's under warranty for another couple of weeks luckily...

VSS, assuming it does this while moving.

Common problem with the '08.

Remove VSS and clean the sensor area. Check wiring too.

It does it 'usually' from stop up to speed at moderate acceleration. Nothing has been found directly to trip it, it just does it when it feels like it.

I'll see what they come back with this next time...
