Riding with the boys today, bike is running good. I looked down on the way back and the CEL is on but it is running good. Voltages are good so I don't think it is a charging issue.

How do I retrieve the engine codes to determine what the problem is? I looked in the owners and service manuals and couldn't find the answer.

Thank You for your time.

Hold both buttons on the cluster, turn on the key. Cycle through, error codes are at the beginning as I recall. Post the codes here, I'll find out what they are if you'd like.

THX Dean. I got a P1047 F-R AF sys err.

F Adapt Fuel 115.5
R Adapt Fuel 99.5

Barker and stock ecm for the last 6 months and now this happens? I'm going to throw in some injector cleaner and go for a ride.

That won't fix the problem. Either manually tune it yourself or get a race ecm again. Fueling is way off and the stock ecm will not be able to compensate for it correctly, thus the code you're getting. I'm pretty sure to get that particular code it has to go more than 25% apart. I realize yours is only showing a 16% spread now, but it moves around pretty easily from what I've seen. Used to get the same thing on the Jardine pipe I had, and it took a while but did the same on my RT-3 before I got a race calibration. I haven't ridden with a stock ecm in so long, I forgot what it was like.

I cruised 7 miles parked for an hour then 7 cruised miles back and no CEL. I was riding with a younger more aggressive group today, pushing a little harder than usual. Running more RPMs may have exacerbated the situation a bit.

Almost 11K miles with a tune up valve check coming at 12K, maybe Erik Buell Racing will have a grand reopening and I can get a deal on another one.
