They accidentally posted pictures of the new wheels on this site and I believe they were removed.

it is possible that a few badwebbers saved the pic when it was posted briefly...its possible that one of them could send you a pic...

IIRC- an Anony posted it, said it would have been on the production Barracuda, & would have been several pounds lighter than the XB/1125 wheel. The pic was quickly taken down, so I figure that means the design belongs to E-B-R and is not yet patented.

^^^^^ The mag wheels were 3 1/2 pounds lighter for the rear and 2 1/2 pounds lighter for the front according to the Buell catalog. The E B R site shows the front at 2 pounds lighter.

Lighter is lighter!

Mag. wheels drop about 6 pounds.

C.F. wheels drop about 11 pounds.

We've been seeing the B2 and that wheel for quite a while... so is that it or is there something super awesome we all missed?

Back wheel looks the same.
Front, way thinner "spokes" hollow in the center.
That wheel would be a lot lighter than mine.

My wheel, with tire and disc, is lighter than a normal H-D TIRE!

Might have to start saving for that wheel...

the back wheel in the pic is NOT the actual wheel for production

Oops, I just noticed you guys were talking about a REAR wheel not a front wheel.
I posted that Barracuda picture because of the front wheel. I love that front wheel.

I know the 1190rr has a different rear wheel. Are they anything like the one you guys are talking about?

I like that wheel but it doesn't match the front, which kinda bugs me.

Nevermind.... that wheel is made by PVM not Erik Buell Racing

Now I'm REALLY curious

What do the stock wheels weigh?

I know the rear with the pulley, bearings and rotor weigh in at 21 pounds.

The PVM 6 spokes weigh 8.59 pounds for the rear and 5.95 pounds for the front.

Check out the rear wheel on the Typhon 1190. Is that the one you are talking about?

Yes, very unconventional. It's not what I would call a " spoked wheel".
