Well I had the seat off on my 09 CR today so I could run the wiring for my gerbings heated glove liners when I noticed this.

Not sure where it's coming from but the Bosch sensor with the green o-ring seems to be saturated the most. Looked all around for the source but everything else seemed clean. Anyone ever had this issue before??

Can you tell what kind of fluid it is? I want to say it looks like oil, but I rather you made sure we figure out that isn't just rain water.

It looks like oil to me but it has no oil odor.

It's probably oil. Do you cold check or hot check? Do you run the bike into high rpms?

If it's oil, it's from the crankcase breather.

crankcase breather isn't pushed all the way in the bottom of the airbox.

Crank case breather is the most ill fitting design I've ever seen. Even if it's pushed all the way up, it still doesn't make a tight seal.

You probably filled it up a little to much and it puked some out at high rpms.

Never seen my Baro look like that.

Don't trust anything but a full-on "hot oil level check".
Follow the instructions to the "T", absolutely NO deviation.

You will get repeatable/accurate results.

Otherwise, just change oil & filter and put in 3qts of your fav synth.
Then ride to the next service. : )

Check the crank case breather, but if its not that, check the fuel line, its the black line with the silver liner around it in the bottom right corner of the first picture.

Remove the inner and outer air box covers and look to see if it is actually coming from the breather hose. Take a pic for us.
