Getting ready for a track day tomorrow and I wanted to pull the fuse for the lights. This keeps the bike from starting? I'm pretty sure I have the right fuse, it's the 15A next to the ignition fuse, which appears to be right 'cause pulling that wouldn't let the bike start either. Any suggestions? Thanks! Phil | ||

Pull the 6 pin connector in the front at the lights. No need to mess with the fuse. Same for the tail light, pull the connectors, remove the entire bracket for the plate and lights. Tape over the hole if you don't have a blank to replace it with and remove the tools from under the rear seat. You need to take off the mirrors/signals from the front anyway, it's 2 more screws to take the fairing off. Do that, tape over the lights in front, disconnect the wiring. Put the fairing back on with the 2 bolts and 2 zip ties through the mirror bolt holes. (Message edited by d_adams on October 02, 2010) | ||

Didn't see the 6 pin connector. I was unplugging the mirrors from the two wire plugs. Thanks! Phil |
