I just had to re-enter my password and it worked again and since.

Those who are still having problems, is you browser storing your password? When I re-entered mine the browser acted as though it was a new password.

Mine doesn't save the user / pass either. I'm on an iPhone. It did use to work.

Windows Vista and mine stopped working also. I don't mind typing it in. Yup, I have to type it in to leave this comment.

So what changed and how can we get the old behavior back? This is getting annoying...

Try clicking on the "X" or stop button in your browser once the page appears to have loaded except for possibly the banner ads.

It looks to me like some of the banners are not loading. They reside on the sponsor's chosen site, so I have no control over that. When they don't load the browser never gets to its final step of populating the fields in question. Stopping the browser should allow it to do so.

Let me know. In the mean time, I'll work at getting the banner ad situation corrected.

: )

Dead banners have not caused problems before.

Team Latus has no image.

If my computer is not working, why is it Blake's fault? Only on the BadWeb! There is a common thread here folks!

Now that Blake mentioned it, (and I've been paying attention) I'm not seeing ANY banner ads anymore. Hmmmmmmm...

Oh, and Black... if it was JUST my computer I'd concede your point... but if you look back on this thread it ISN'T just me.

Mine's not pre-filled anymore in Firefox, but all I have to do after logging in once is to click twice in the username field and there it is.

That trick isn't working for me in Ie7, Ie8, Opera 10.10, and Opera 10.62

I got 3100 computers at my disposal at work, I hopped on a public use one and still it was not retaining the info. Banner ads did not seem to be the issue, although they occasionally in the past would delay the prefill. I need to go find those few macs we have and get disappointed on them too!

Guy's this isn't a problem. At first I thought it was a problem with my computer, that is a problem. If it's on the other end no problem.

Double-clicking gets me a list of IDs I've used in different boards (including this one) but doesn't fill in the password.

Using Seamonkey 2.0.7 which has the same Gecko rendering engine as Firefox 3.5.

Been using MSIE8 and have verified the problem. Bizarre! It works for me on the following page,

http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/406 2/592463.html?1284477197

but I only get the username filled in on this one. The username and pw fields showed up filled on the above page after I used the upload attachment button to post a jpg image. Tried same here, no change. Might have been coincidence.

Not sure what I did to get partial fix, didn't get to the point of editing registry key though. I did run Services.msc and stop and restart the "Protecte Storage" service. Before that I had deleted all history and saved field data and deleted all cookies. I made sure that "inprivate" was turned off and that the browser wasn't deleting history or coookies upon closing.

Let me know if anyone else finds even limited success via any of the above hyperlinks at microsoft.com.

We'll keep working.

Suggest going through the lists in the hyperlinks above or switching to FireFox.
