Dean-while awaiting an EB r tune for your pipes I got a great deal on an ecm tuned for an FMF pipe. Bike runs much better, no more popping. Only the revs hang up a bit when I let off the throttle, not sure if that is due to the engine braking being removed?? I'll send it in once they finally get a map for your pipes. I've also been running with my inner airbox removed, took it off before I even got the ecm and the bike was running better with it off.

Hey D_adams, what is the wait time for the polished RT 2?

5-6 weeks minimum and thats if I get everything done on the schedule I'm shooting for. I'm still somewhat swamped at the moment. The orders have been fairly steady, so I'm staying busy.
Just my personal observation, the RT-3 is a bit louder than the other 3 versions, but part of that is due to the outlet placement and angle. Most of them have been made angled either up or straight out, which will make them sound somewhat louder than the others, those have all been angled down more.

I have a rt2 and I love it, though I won't be leaving my garage at 6 in the morning. Lol. I can feel the change even without th Erik Buell Racing ECM. You can't go wrong with this pipe, I highly recommend it.

I sent some emails to Erik Buell Racing and they pushed back the ECM a Month. Sometime in the first two weeks in September. Bummer.

Got it!! I just ordered the Rolling Thunder (RT) Type 2 Custom SS Race exhaust/dual outlet and I am waiting with extreme anticipation. I guess my only question is what ECM to order? I don't see an ECM for the KEDA exhausts.

There isn't one tuned for it yet. In the meanwhile I would use their standard pump gas ecm, although it won't hurt to ask if they have the calibration done for the RT-1 yet. Functionally, the 1 & 2 are identical. The standard race cal should net at least 137 hp & 82 ft/lbs at the wheel.

Btw, thanks for the order, that was the 3rd one this morning. Busy busy!

Yeah, I have written 2 emails to Erik Buell Racing but as of yet I have not heard back from them. I want to get their input and their suggested ECM. Someone on here has said that there is a one month wait on the ECM right now. But yeah, thank you and your welcome D. I can't wait to set it all up. In the mean time I will just have to wait and go crazy with anticipation.

Father-I am currently running an FMF tune on my RT-1(until they release the RT tune), not perfect but you really dont want to run the exhaust without SOME kind of tune.
