I have been having the same exact problem now for some time, bike gets hot and won't stay running or re start after stalling out, I'm getting the fuel sys pr error aswell, each time it dies. I have had it in the dealer 2 times now and they tell me nothing is wrong. |

Go into diagnostic mode and check fuel pressure running and not running. Key on, ignition off, pressure should be around 323 kPa Running, it should be around 410 kPa. Less means something is obstructing the inlet or the pressure sensor or fuel pump is bad. Z |

Just checked the Fuel pressure; key on - ignition off it is at 384 kpa. Running it is bouncing between 384 and 410. |

sh.t Glad I looked back - the 323 kPa above should have been 525 - typo When Loretta's fuel pump went, running I had near 400 right after starting, but shortly would fall to 280-300. Key on, ign off was around 200 IIRC. Have your fuel system looked at. Z <edit> Just went out and checked Loretta. By the time I got to fuel pressure in Diag Mode, it was at 40 kPa, key-on-ign-off. Started her and it went to 480. FSM says 517 at key-on-ign-off and 380-415 at idle and 4k rpm. (Message edited by zac4mac on September 03, 2010) |

Thanks for checking on that for me Zac! It hasn't acted up in the past few days and it's scheduled to get looked at on Thursday. I'll have them check the fuel system and electrical system while they have it. |
