My pleasure - Are you installing yours right away? If so, I'll be interested in your assessment. Mine will sit around for a few months, ordered early just to get in on the deal. Just a matter of time ...

I ordered a set too but they won't go on for at least a few months. I am a big fan of the 2cts tho so if you are on the fence, I recommend you go for it.

Hey I have 8400 miles on my front and about 5000 on the rear. I know its going to be hard for you to believe but the roads here are mostly straight and slow. Froggy can you beat that LOL.

I also got less than 2200 miles out of my rear. I thought the corsa III was just alright. I'm replacing them with Pilot Powers - I've always used them when racing and I expect I'll like them for the road too.

My rear Corsa III is pretty worn at 2100 miles. I suspect that it's due to several things. Obviously the 1125 motor is torquey and abrupt acceleration will certainly take its toll. But it also does have a fair amount of flywheel effect, and downshifting without rev-matching will put a fair bit of extra wear on the tire as the tire tries to spin the engine up to the correct RPM. I rev-match on every downshift, but the 1125 is probably the hardest bike I've ridden to get it exactly right, so there have been plenty of times I've let out the clutch and the RPM might be off by a grand or so.

I suspect that the PP 2CTs won't do much better, but if that's the price of riding a powerful v-twin like it's meant to be ridden, so be it.

Yes, 7000 miles on a set, I wore out the front before the rear. : )

I must admit I'm a little concerned now.. I have 1200 miles on the bike from new and the rear tire's just barely legal. Considering 600 of those miles were running it in I'm wondering what the heck i am doing wrong..

I have a 200 mile trip to do tomorrow and another 200 on the weekend but I really don't think the tire's going to last that extra 400 miles.

I check the pressures religiously but I do ride "hard" my old TLS used to manage about 1200-1400 miles to a rear and 2400-2800 to a front so i suspect the 1125 is going to be the same.

Nuts... won't have time to get the tire changed before the weekend trip, still I am takinga pillion so will be taking it easy..

I should, coulda and woulda changed my rear tire at 2200miles, but cheaply and stupidly tried to squeeze an extra few hundred outta them. Needless to say when they hit 2500 they lost grip on a damp road and I'm still waiting on parts to arrive for the fix. Mostly ridden hard with a track day thrown in. Will be trying out the new Dragon SC's though when i get my bike back.

I've got 4800 on my Corsa III's and probably get 500 more. I ride year around, so maybe the cool winter allowed me to get 3k without high wear. I do a mix of twisties and to/from work in straight lines. I hit it hard now and again, but obviously not as hard you others!

Deuceal: The winter riding, in my experience, is essentially "free miles" as far as tires go.

I got 5200 on my Corsa IIIs, with a good bit of winter in there.

I suspect that the PP 2CTs won't do much better, but if that's the price of riding a powerful v-twin like it's meant to be ridden, so be it.

I've got over 5500 on my 2CTs right now (commuting), and there's still a ton of tread left.
