Ok, first, nothing here is *mine*, and again it isn't a business. I could of easily disallowed this from the start, but I wanted to see it happen.

Zip88 - I appreciate that, I hope to remain active for many years to .... :-) Dean , Al - Hooray!!! That still does not help Froggy. I fear and maybe I am reading between the lines here but BWB's cash flow may be the big concern. When I click on a Dark Horse Moto banner here I get a farewell. When I click on the Latus HD banner here (no/bad graphic) I get the Latus web site with no context or reference to Buell. The BWB 2009 HD sponsorship contracts were likely in place when HD pulled the plug. Since then things may have been pretty rough here as well. With all due respect NEW income streams may be the bigger issue. A Group Buy wouldn't be happening if this site were not here. We have to support each other and BWB as well. This concept needs to benefit everyone to be sustainable. THX | ||

Danny, on the front page there is a link that says "Buell Motorcycles, Parts, Service, & Accessories". That has the list of all the sponsors. Many are HD dealers, sure as hell at least one of them sells Corbin seats to all the HOGs that come in. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/171 43/17143.html?1275139683 (Note there are some not listed there, but as far as I can tell all the HD dealers at least are in it)
It's not an issue. We currently have enough sponsors to keep badweb running for the foreseeable future.
Dark Horse was sold to American Sport Bike a few weeks ago. Keith, the owner of Dark Horse didn't have the time available to continue running the business.
Many HD websites don't have references to Buell on them anymore. Hell we are lucky if they still have the sign out front!
I don't have access to the details of every sponsor, but some pay annually, some do month to month, some do 6 months, etc. I do expect us to lose a few dealers as time goes on, but we still got plenty that will continue to support us and the Buell community.
Ever since the closing, Badweb has gained several new sponsors, including Simon's Competition which came on board last week. If push came to shove we would have to investigate some other form of income, but that isn't necessary for the foreseeable future. | ||

I just went through the BWB sponsor list and have emailed a request to one of the BWB sponsors. The closest BWB sponsor to Corbin besides A-S-B Al (issues w/Corbin) is SIMI Buell in Moorpark Ca. Here's hoping! :-) | ||

I'm interested in the Saddlemen sport bike seat with the gel channel as well. I already have a Buell comfort seat, and while it's an improvement over stock for longer rides it's still not great. | ||

DMS #54 - THX I think Al may have two prices the traditional comfort seat he first mentioned and the gel channel as discussed later. IDK. As Saddlemen explained in the email I posted, 25 or more orders was their sweet spot. The same could be true for our Corbin dealer. The voting should begin when we see the final numbers for the Corbin and Saddlemen seats. Voting based on design and value. I can see three distinct possibilities, A comfort seat clone, a gel channel, and a flat front Corbin. I hope that we have these orders and a few more when the costs come in and final voting starts. I am assuming that if anyone has asked for Saddlemen up to now they wanted the Gel channel design. THX | ||

As I've previously stated, I want the saddlemen seat. This should be obvious because I contacted them and asked them to come in here and sniff this out. So yes with the channel, yes to no ED. Yes to giving our $ to people who work in a factory in the USA. Sign me the hell up already. | ||
