Sparafucile New seat no logo. With multiple quantities from a few people we are at 60 commitments. Of those 60, 16 have voted. 3 of the 16 are wanting to core + upholster the rest new. In two days time we have had a 26% turnout to the vote. I am hoping that the vote can be finished in another week. How should we address the non voters then? I am not the boss of this we all are. What's the fair thing to do? THX | ||

All, I'm going to Korea in November. If this does not pan out I'll be taking my seats with me. I should be able to find a shop there to do what we want for cheap. If I do I'll let you all know and post some photos. | ||

Afhans "if this does not (pun -->  ); pan out...". :-) I am waiting for Al and a group strategy for non-voter follow-up (Email?). We should agree on an appropriate course of action of culling the non-voters from the list. When we see the final numbers we will then have some idea of our purchasing clout. Looking at that Saddlemen seat, it looks like the kinda seats that have been used for bicycling. That design works! I have a saddle like that on my bike and 100 miles rides are 0 numbness, where it counts. | ||

I have a Baldwin seats on two of my bikes. After years of using corbin seats I have to say the Baldwin is the best but you guys decide. I have had the Buell select seats on two bikes and they do not compare. If your only looking to spend a 150 dollars the Buell select may be the way to go but how much is rider comfort or an extra 200 miles a day worth to you? Frank | ||

I also wouldn't really expect any of them to throw out a 25% discount just for a group buy on their seats either. Sure, it would be nice, but I don't see it happening, unless their volume can support it. I know my business can't, but I'm not set up for large quantities. At this point, I'd rather use Baldwin if nothing else. I keep missing the firebolt seats on the cheap for some reason. | ||

Well, apparently I wasn't first in line even with posting up within the first 10 minutes, so I missed that one. I'd go with #2 at this point unless there's a huge price difference. | ||

I am on board for the new seat as well. I don't want to see my bike sit because I don't have a seat to ride with. It can't be that expensive to make a seat and if enough of us climb a board this ride, then the seats should easily be set at an affordable price. | ||

if al or the vendor is putting together a core set nobody would be with out a seat. it would be like baldwin is doing you pay extra 50 for the core and get a refund if you return it?? After 2 200 mile days on the factory custom seat my ass was killing me. I am half tempted to order a leather covered baldwin. There has to be a comfortable seat |
