Finally got them painted to match. Not super thrilled with the fit-up or instructions (seemed like i was missing a page) but all is spaced, heat shielded and looking good.   | ||

How can I put this delicately, dude, I want to do your bike. That's dead sexy, and pics don't do our bikes justice so in person it must be incredible. Great job. I did the fairings on my 08 & I know what you mean, at least they're easy to figure out, lol. | ||

In person the black looks even better. I thought about painting mine but after a little while of having them I decided to leave them black. If they were flat black then I probably would have painted them. | ||

Hey! Thanks Guys! I appreciate the input from all of you. Yeah NoRice, i took off that lower 1125R sticker off the under the number plate. I just uploaded the before that pic accidentally. Dman, sorry bro, this bitch is mine, mount your own  I'm having a hard time staying off her anyway lol. 1buell, i'm not a fan of the red either, a little flashy for me, but it was the last R in the state and now it seems to look more tolerable to me. Still a little attention grabber though. I can only imagine how many times i'm going to be asked what it is NOW lol. | ||

Whats up with you rear view mirrors, looks like a puppy that just got yelled at. Did you add that fairing decal or is the bike a 2010? The fairing lowers make checking the oil level on an 2010 kinda tough, can't see the sight window and there's no dip stick, just an oil cap. | ||

If you are looking for input on the stickers I think the R on the fairing looks better without the Pegasus shield below it. Not sure why but I don't like those shield stickers much. The rest is hawt. | ||

Yeah, wasn't sure about the shields either. I'll see if they grow on me for now... I'd love that large new logo i saw on someones black bike, but i don't know where to find one and don't have any decal connections. As for a belly pan, i'm not sure. Maybe with a aftermarket exhaust, but there doesn't seem to be allot of room under there, and oddly, in person, it seems like the black of the exhaust ties in with the frame and seat if that makes any sense? Not terrible anyway. Down the road who knows though. If i was rich i'd be working on the 1190 tail and something else entirely for a fairing lol. This is the best i can afford for now. Still wouldn't mind the large shield logo though  | ||

Fairing looks good, red looks good- but it needs a belly pan. The original design had a belly pan that didn't make it into production, and without it the fairings will always look either unfinished or a home-built afterthought. Finish your bike- get a belly pan. | ||

That looks fantastic, I definately like the coulour matched look. You could swap out the 1125R stickers for some ERIKBUELLRACING ones, I did that with mine and the airbox BUELL stickers have been replaced with the pegasus and text.. But to be honest what you have done looks fantastic  | ||

I'm not necessarily a fan of "throw my ass in prison red," but I must admit that your bike looks fantastic. I agree that you should get a belly pan and paint it red, too. Would love to see it with red wheels and the red ZTL-2 brake caliper like on the CRs. Your mirrors are not supposed to fold like that. You can now look forward to them folding on you at high speeds. p.s. Why is your license plate mounted that way? It's blocking the rear reflector. (Message edited by chameleon on May 09, 2010) | ||
