You got an extra, I'd probably take it, especially at that price. I'd even pay retail for one, but not the fleabay prices. I can get a corbin or ballwin seat for what they go for there and it would be brand new and exactly what I order. | ||

How do BWB members organize a group order? Erik Buell Racing must know the vendor. To avoid any restrictions or covenants with HD they could sell those seats, one as Daytona 24 hour endurance racing seat and the other as a Paris-Dakar trans-continental endurance racing seat. The Paris-Dakar seat would be 2 inches thicker. I want one. Lets add up the demand and see if we can get Erik Buell Racing or American Sport Bike to cut us a deal. | ||

Erik Buell Racing probably has had ZERO contact with the seat vendor. I'm sure HD does (did) all that stuff. You'd be better off buying a spare stocker, and taking it to a local seatmaker/upholstery shop (or a sponsor) so they can use the pan to make whatever seat you want. It'd be less frustrating, anyway... | ||

Actually I do love the stock seat, compared to the dozen plus sport bikes I've had it's waaaaaay more comfy than average. But can't help think how much more comfy it could be .... but i have no issues with the stocker, overall the 1125R is the most comfortable sportbike I've ever owned, second would be the 2004+ R1. | ||

I wonder if a gel insert is an option if they're being custom made? Where are you planning on trying to get these from? HD? The original supplier? Or Corbin, Ballwin or somewhere else? I really don't want to spend $300+ for a seat. | ||

Not sure I follow the stock vs 2" thicker items in the list. Can you explain? I thought the idea was that everyone group buy on the Buell custom seat? Or, are you now asking for seat specs people desire in a custom fab group buy? | ||

Supplier will not sell to Erik Buell Racing. Huge problem we have had on many parts, requiring re-sourcing. |
