Anyone know where I can pick one up for a reasonable price? I thought I read on here that some Harley dealership sells their parts at a discount, if this is true, which one is it?? (I'm in Canada so I'll likely have to see who is willing to ship one to me)

Thanks guys!

Ah, nevermind, Precision or Liberty, 20% off for Badwebbers... I think I answered my own question.

Why are you wanting to do this? I'm wondering if it's something I'd like to do. I think they're LED correct?

Honestly, I really don't like the stock tail light. Its the only thing about the bike that really really chafes me, IMO it looks cheap. I think the 2010 LED light looks a lot better, plus I prefer a clear lens over a red one.

I'll likely get an integrated one someday, but till then, this is a better-than-stock and pretty cost efficient alternative to get me by.

The stock '10 LED light lists for $57.

U can get the 2010 lamp from American Sport Bike at least I did ... Not sure how many Al has left. I installed mine on my 09 CR and it looks and functions much better than the previous bulb unit. Better distinction btw running a brake mode was the main reason I did it. My post "Just A Few Little Mods" or something like that details it. Any questions feel free to ask, it's a very simple snip and crimp to get it in.

I have a few in stock, but they aren't up on the web site yet, so you'd either need to order the special there or call it in. we have a few of the aux LP lights that go with them too.

I'm a big fan of the www.xblights.com lights...

You can get one with a clear lens, they're *stupidly* bright, and you can get integrated turn signals too.

They're pricey, but so far, I'm more than satisfied with mine - to miss me braking, you'd have to be legally blind (I've got the full board running lights + brake light, and a flasher module as well).

I had the XBLights clear light and the 2010 light side by side.

The XBLight got sold.

Thanks guys. I *know* the XB lights unit is brighter, but I'm not about to drop $200 on it right now.

I called a stealership close to me and they want $79 for the 2010 light. Like hell! I'll see what Precision and Liberty have to say

Y0401.7AC TAIL LIGHT, LED, W/O LICENSE PLATE LIGHT Retail Price:$57.00

$51 after a Badweb discount, plus a few bucks to ship. It is funny how parts in Canada cost a ton more.

Ya, they wanted $79, plus tax (13%) plus $30 for shipping. Right.

I still may have issues with getting one shipped to me though, thats the issue. I'm not willing to pay $30-40 for shipping alone

Alllrighty, so I'm back. Anyone know where I can buy one of these bad boys that will actually ship to Canada?? Anyone? That seems to be my issue. (plus not being willing to pay $30 to have a tiny box mailed to me)

Ask someone here to pick it up and ship it for you as a gift and pay him back via Paypal. I did that very thing when I bought a die cast motorcycle model from the UK.
