I got my lowers yesterday and wanted to bolt them on and see what I needed to modify on them to fit my CR and there are no directions supplied, just both fairing sides, stick on insulation, and a yellow bag of hardware, nut, bolts, spacers, clips, etc.
Does someone have directions they can scan so I can see the lower brackets mounting points ..

For the 1/4 inch do you plan on packing it out with washers or picking up a spacer from the local hardware store? I need to do some adjusting as well and reapply some tape. Its a bummer to find the damage already done.

Grant you washers would be easier but will use spacer when i am done, hell that is the easy part,my 1125 is a CR so there is no fairing to attach to up top, will have to measure and cut with jigsaw then sand to final shape and attach it on both sides at top. I have a couple ideas, one is wellnuts in the pod covers for one 3 across the top and with the two on each bottom it should be fine...has anyone else attempted to put the side fairings on a 1125CR?

Ref CH00401AM I just today fitted a Fairing set. Came with instructions that says to fit the supplied quarter inch spacer to the right hand side front bracket situated near the exhaust exhaust pipe. There is a photo showing the screw and it writes that the spacer should be fitted but also states that (of course) the spacer can't be seen. I decided to add another, so there are now two between the bracket and engine casing. That meant I had to re-bend the rear bracket slightly to ensure both bracket captive clips lined up with the fairing. It was perfect and the clearance -fairing to pipe looks like it will have enough clearance to avoid melting.....lets see! FYI fairing manufactured July 09
