Has anyone tried the free Flexi-Glass fairing mount kit from Grandstand Designs? Any opinions from users?

I'll try just about anything that's free...but no I haven't. Think they forgot to price it, or is it only free with body work purchase?

Doesn't look like a typo. More like a freebie if you buy the Glexi-Glass panels from GSD.

Pete, give more details. Does it come with everything needed to mount both side panels and the belly pan?

Neither the mounting kit nor the front bearings are free. I spoke with Pete earlier today and he told me it was a glitch in data entry. The mountint kit is around $65

From Pete's Web site:

"This kit contains all the hardware needed to mount the Flexi-Glass aftermarket fiberglass full fairings to a Buell 1125R or 1125CR. The parts are made entirely of stainless steel and water jetted for a perfect finish."

Hope that helps. I didn't use the kit, mounted my panels > year ago. They weren't very stable till I mounted the belly pan. Now the panels are stiff. If I were staying with this particular side panel I would get the mounting kit, whether I were using a belly pan or not.
