I have no idea how to use my guage pod to check my AFV's on my 2008 1125R. please help me.

Hold down the mode and toggle and turn the key on, it will be in diag mode now. AFV is near the end of all the info you need to toggle through.

1. would this be the afv last recorded when the motor was previouslly turned off?

2. is the diag mode a read only sort of affair, or are there things in there to reset?

is all this stuff in the service manual?

2. Pretty sure it's FYI, may be able to clear codes, not sure never had to.

Yes all this should be in the service manual or electronic diagnostic manual, not sure which.

AFV is a number that reflects what the ECM thinks is proper fueling for YOUR bike.
An AFV of 100 applies the fuel map as it is.
Less than 100, the ECM is reducing the amount, over 100 and it is adding.

There is a vague correlation to altitude, but other factors are also at play.

A value under 100 means your bike was rich and a value over means the bike was lean?

ON this subject is there. HOW DO YOU RESET THE CODES......anyone with a manual..mine will be here in a couple weeks.
