Anyone else had the bank angle sensor trip when riding? Just happened to me this morning on a hill with a kind of an "s" turn on it. The bike died 4 ways on and the display read Tipped Key Off. I coasted to the side of the road and turned the key off for a minute and back on and everything was fine.
Just wondering what I could have done to trip it. I was not doing anything crazy.

If it happened only once, I wouldn't worry about it, but if it happens again get the sensor replaced, it is defective.

Either you are a lot better rider than I am (which is probably all too likely), or it's defective. If mine ever goes off, I'll know I've crashed or it's time for warranty work!

Yeah I had mine cut off when I did an Artie johnson tricycle ride (man in a yellow raincoat and hat, riding a tricycle and tipping over ).

Other than that, no.

I hope it is not cursed. Just turned 1000 miles today. No other problems and I having a blast.
Can't beat the weather we have had and looks good, well no rain and above 50, for the next week.
I also wondered about the 4 ways. There must be a way to get them if the work under this condition correct?

I usually don't post in BAS threads anymore. Someone else already has the remedy.

Somehow, me posting in the thread is like the appearance of the Grim Reaper. : |

I don't think that Methed has had a problem with it yet.

Maybe I just leaned it over more than it was comfortable being leaned?

Quick check -
Pull the left pod and make sure the BAS is screwed down.
Once while playing, I pulled mine off and tilted it to see the 4-way flash.

If it is screwed down, it may be defective, take it to the dealer then.

So it's possible the sensor has gotten loose (if it's not defective)?

My bike cut out on my way to work this morning. I wasn't leaning at all and I got the TIPPED KEY OFF message.

I'll check this out when I get home. I feel a little on edge knowing my bike might cut out on me.
