Yup. Put another 50 miles on mine today in upstate NY. Truth be told, that's about all I can handle in one sitting w/ those handlebars...

Oh Yes - I'm glad you asked!
wonderful weekend of weather here in Ontario - sunny and 14 degrees and NO traffic about. Went for a spirited ride yesterday and the R reminded me why I bought it. I fell in love with it all over again.

That was probably the final ride of the year
Xo.

Rode a 120 miles on my CR today and loved it! It was a balmy 75 degrees and sunny in VA today.

Smoothrod - I gotta ask, do you have high bars or clubmans?

Swamp2 - I did 123 Miles two weeks ago in one shot, Although round trip it was closer to 260 miles. The 123 mile leg with the clubman bars was a bit much, but since then, I've gotten more use to them and could probably handle the 123 miles without the fatigue I had in the earlier trip.

Rode 80 miles yesterday and about 70 something today on the new CR. I'm 57 yrs. old and the clubman bars work great for me, they will be even better once I get better grips on them. High bars bother my neck, too much fighting the wind when there isn't a shield in front me, like a big sail. I think she might be a keeper. MB

changing the grips to traction grips will help and I highly suggest some gloves with padding on the palms.

75 miles today in Florida on my R (with a buddy on his new R as well). Was a bit over 75 degrees here...THIS is why I love Florida.

Almost up to 200 miles on it! SAD! lol

PA ride from Fawn Grove to Columbia. A great ride up and down the Susquehanna...425 is always a blast. Hopefully, a few more weekends like today.

I put about 80 miles on my CR yesterday...took about 3 hours of riding =/ Sucks being on a tiny island, but I did find that for my 160lb frame, going 70-75mph holds me up pretty well with the clubman bars.

Logged about 100 on my one day old 1125R today. Partly cloudy and 55ish on the front range in Colorado. This bike sure wants to go faster than the break-in recommendation...

Just got back from a three day trip to Ensenada on my two-week old CR. Put about 600 miles on top of the 1000 that I already had on it. Some was on new chip-sealed sweepers, 20 miles was on dual-rutted packed dirt next to the unfinished highway, some was serious lane-splitting through Tijuana. All was good!

The dealer couldn't schedule my 620 mile service for three weeks, so to hell with that - I changed my oil and filter at 500 miles and will do another tomorrow. I did have one thing happen that was very odd and I haven't read about here.

After filling up with premium in Tecate (Pemex premium is actually very good gas by all accounts), we pulled back on the freeway ramp, and my bike suddenly began stumbling pretty severely. Did this for about 20 seconds while I debated getting off on the shoulder before I was actually up on the freeway, then cleared out and ran ok, but the engine light came on. I debated turning the engine off at speed and restarting, to see if it cleared, but didn't want to fool with that, so I dropped into third, ran it up, and bounced it off the rev limiter to see what would happen. Light went out and hasn't come back, nor has the stumble. Bike never did it before. Any thoughts on that?

Otherwise, no physical pain or problems with the seating position. Works for me up to about 85-90, which is all I expect from an unfaired bike. The sweet spot seems to be 5K/75mph.

I've got about 300 miles on mine so far, and I'm leaving for a track day in about an hour. Today is going to be a good day!

There for a while I had the issue where after a fill-up the bike would stall with a fuel error but then run perfectly fine.

Never traced the issue... but it went away. Look for a kink in the breather hose just in case, though. Make sure the seat isn't pinching it.

"Smoothrod - I gotta ask, do you have high bars or clubmans?"

Yea swamp I have the clubmans! I found that switching to the traction grips made them a whole different set of bars. I had no numbness or aching of wrist etc after riding that far yesterday. Best $16 spent on a motorcycle ever!

I noticed a buzz at highway speeds and my fingers would go numb.
I put a heavy zip-lock with 130 gms of #8 birdshot in each bar. no more buzz.

Thanks for the stalling tip. I'll check the breather, though it's a CA bike so it's got the cannister.

I second the traction grip suggestion. I had problems with the stock grips, and I'm not usually sensitive to those kind of vibration issues. Traction grips did away with it entirely.
