Got over 700 miles on my 1125r added new Buell seat and a Zero Gravity Double Bubble windscreen. I have an appointment to get my first service done this weekend. This bike is awesome and is more fun than my Ducati was. Sad to say I haven't put any miles on my Road Rod (VROD) and very little on my 1948 Indian since I got the bike. May just put the Road Rod up for sale because the Buell is that good.

Awesome job Buell. This bike has earning its spot in my heart next to my Indian.

Definitely a comment of perspective.. I bought my 1125CR 18 days ago and it's been in the shop for the last 15 sportin a whole 40 miles.. I truly hope to agree with you one day. :-/

Thanks for the kindness. I went in the dealership in '03 to buy a VROD and came out with a Buell. Never looked back and enjoyed every riding second.

Bwbueller sorry to hear about your issues, it sounds like a typical Ducati experience LOL. The 2008 were flawed but all the bugs were identified and should have been fixed. My dealer is a really good Buell shop. So if you are ever in NJ go to Long Branch HD and they will hook you up.

Heck yeah!! Thanks for the sympathy. The bike for the most part is ready for me to fall in love with it!! The 40 miles I put on it seemed promising! I'm very excited.. My anticipation is eating me alive. I feel like I could use a different dealer fo sho!! I was going to try to ween myself off the jap bikes.. just not off to a very good start. : )

I USED to have a 48 Chief

Now there's only one bike in the garage, Loretta.

I traded my little brother my 03 XB9R for his 95 Z-28.
Nice family car. : )

I've owned several bikes (all H-D except my '00 X1) ... And my 09R is the first one that I really can't stay off of. I don't get a lot of chances to ride, so managing to put 350 miles on mine in the first week and a half is doing something. I love this thing!

I loved mine another 70 miles worth today ... Over 400 now, and the way the weather is looking I might get to that fabled 620 real quickly.
