And would this eliminate the legal requirement for having the physical mirrors? That would be awesome!

$299 and available next year according to the site. Mirror regs vary by state, so I'd say it's probably best to verify the regs in your specific state before ditching the mirrors for a product like this. Just my $0.02 & YMMV.

Biggest constraint would be daylight "viewability" of the display. The lower price automotive displays have pretty daylight viewability. Next issue would be weather and vibration resistance.

I've thought about adapting a car one but those issues have kept me from it. There are some M/C dedicated ones but the viewability was still an issue. Technology marches on............

While the mirror views on the 112CR do leave a bit to be desired, (actually sucks), the quick head check is still a great tool! On the high handle bar install, the mirrors do offer a bit more rear visability at the traffic lights. Bar ends may be my next mod.
