Are these belts directional .Does it install a certain direction. an arrow?

Hmmm. never thought of that, not to my knowledge.
I have installed two myself and didn't notice any arrows.
One I effed up, the other is a test belt.

They are not directional.

wouldn't it be a bad thing if they were directional....I mean...atleast on the air cooled models that don't have a slipper. One day you decide to engine break and the thing shreds? :P

The slipper really doesn't...
I still get significant engine braking on Loretta.
I was worried before I got her, but the worries were unfounded.
