I have nothing but good stuff about Quat-d
systems,and that definitely looks prototype
to me.

I have never heard a complaint about fitment, and they usually make power.

I think it is fantastic to have all these
companies making exhausts for Buells.

I am hoping that Taylormade makes their kit for the 1125 like they do for the CBR1000.

+100!! We don't all have to like all the options for whatever reason, but it sure is a GREAT thing to have options!

Would like to see a Black Coated version of it,and ya gotta admit-"different in every sense".
Plus, what a great unit for fitting a custom bellypan to ...

yes, QD are from italy. I have a friend who lend them his CR in order to develop the exhaust, and they told him they have 2 options: one like the jardine or termignoni (which he choose) and one like bikejunky posted, that needed more time to built. There's nothing innovative, they already built similar exhausts for ghezzi brian's Furia and Fionda and for Ducati's Monster. You can see one mounted one the monster in the background. Top quality from them!

if I look carefully at this bike I think this is the one of my friend, but he told us nothing in our board. I'll ask him and will let you know soon.

here we are! this is not really a "prototype", in fact it seems that this is one produced for the monster.
The sound was quite similar to the stock one, and weights 3kg less. It is not coated, and from the first dynotests, it doesn't seem to really improve torque or hp's.
No other info of future production, but I think it's really possible.

"still looks like a toaster..."

Toasters would be offended at that statement. I guess the effort to produce a pipe that makes power, as opposed to one that simply makes noise, is the reason for the slew of hideous exhausts out there but DAMN, this is the worst of the bunch. Can a visually appealing design not be produced?

Sorry, gotta say that's a red-headed-stepchild to the OEM can.

I saw a pic of a prototype with exits like that on the Buell-bagpipe.
I think they are using the rear disc to break up the sound and help pass EPA noise..

I really respect the Engineering in the OEM can, but I love the sound of my Drummer. : )
