check engine light has been coming on.code said f-r fuel system error,front afv-104,rear afv-89.5.does anyone know what could cause the 14.5 diff in afv.thanks in advance for your help.

New bike? I had this error off and on for the first few hundred miles, along with a fuel pressure sys error. After say 500-600 miles, I never saw them again.

I bought the bike new 04-2008.it's not the code you get when the bike is started before the fuel system is pressurized.the code reads F-R AF SYS ERROR.bike has 6000 miles,the latest flash,and a d&d exhaust since 05-2008.yhank you

Need the actual DTC code.
P0087 is the fuel rail/system pressure low.
P0192 is fuel pressure sensor low.
P0193 is fuel pressure sensor high.

P1047 is feedback fuel cylinder difference too great.


However, if it's the last one, you've got some other isssues. It should also be kicking out P0131, P0132, P0134, P0151, P0152, and P0154 at the same time. Some are O2 sensor errors, didn't look up the rest.

You might have an air leak in the front intake. On the 49er bikes does the port for the Cali. carbon cannister get blocked by a rubber plug? If so it might have come loose.
