Hi all. I am fairly new to all this so bear with me. The bottom line question for me is ...is ECM SPY worth it? I have a new 1125R which runs great but am I missing out on more? Ive read many of the other posts but I am just looking for simplicity. Should I invest in it and is it hard to figure out?

ECMspy is free for download. All it's good for on the 1125 platform with DDFI-3 is fetching EEPROM data and burning back changes. It's interface will not allow you to intelligently manipulate values, as it does not represent the correct things in the correct places on the new Buells.

I think you may be thinking of the "other software" that is not free. We are not permitted to speak of it here...

Bottom line is... yes
ECM Spy is necessary, and a deep thanks to the "old guard" that set it up.
It may even see a resurgence.

Research it, there's a LOT of knowledge.
