Interesting MD article on the Daytona Sportbike series comparo... http://www.motorcycledaily.com/03june09_das_mdstyl e.htm Of particular interest. The article noted the 2009 1125R's have different injectors, relocated 02 sensors, updated electronics etc... Anyone confirm this? I get crappy lack of knowledge answers on this so far from the dealerships. The 09 did well in the article. | ||

Nice write up. Its interesting to note they were almost all faster on the 600s at fontana. They couldnt find anything to pick on the buell for, save engine vibes and the bike standing a bit while trail braking. Most rags strongly dislike the front brake, but these guys loved it. They also said the FI was well sorted and smooth, and it the most comfortable and easy to ride of the three. I know which one I would buy if I read that article......... | ||

I love the description of the 1125R fairing: a flying saucer! That gives me an idea... if I can mount a pair of fake warp nacelles on the tail section... hmmmmm...  | ||

The Buell comes with a premium purchase price, more then $2500 above the others. Wonder why the Triumph Daytona675 was not included? |
