Email from Lisa @ K&N Filters....

Hi Harlan,

I have good news. The BU-1108 for the 2008-2009 Buell 1125CR/R is now active. This air filter retails for $ 55.00. You can order this filter on our website, customer service or through a dealer. It will take a little bit before the dealers get pricing in their systems and order the air filter.

To order from our website please log onto www.knfilters.com

To order through our customer service, please call 800-858-3333.

Thank you,

Lisa Watson

Just curious, what is the cost of the OEM air filter?

I had to do it as well. Ordered mine today.

+1 to what Zac said. Thanks, guys, for the effort to get this product out for us and thanks to KN for producing it.

I just pestered K&N via the email. Rob is the one that needs to be thanked here. He did the real work.

I ordered mine yesterday too. Very prompt shipping, same day in my case.

Hey thanks but its everyone here on badweb and Buell 1125 riders that wanted it...and demanded the filter be made. All that happened was they got my bike and our bikes at the shop to fit/test/dyno and they did the R&D to get it done! Thanks to all, buying the K&N filter and Lisa Watson/R&D at K&N for also getting it done! Now lets see the HP/Torque with that extra air!

Am I the only one who missed something here guys???

It appears there's two separate "schools" for air filters going on at the same time???

I just ordered it directly from K&N online, and it cost me $55.00, + I purchased the cleaning/re-oiling kit at another $13.00, + tx., shipping, etc. etc. Total for all came to $76.00 and change.

It appears that some of you prefer to go with the OEM filter, but, I just wanted to make sure that the two aren't confused.....

Cheers, Tracy
