I am trying these pads from American Sportbike.

For me the stock pads lack initial bite- though they stop fine> my issue is feel.

I like them to "hammer on" at initial pull then powerful and linear.

These pads feel just like that- really like the HH compound.

FWIW for folks that like a more aggressive bite and feel.

I had those (HH green race pads) on my sv650 and loved them. Had to wear them in to match the rotors, roughly 10 miles of light drag did it, and once they were up to temp, they were excellent for stopping.

I just had the updated (H0300.1AMB) front brake pads (SE7 compound) installed and they seem to work much better than original pads (H0300.1AMA). Just my .02

whats the gifilta with the SE7 updated pads?

Buell upgrade? You upgrade? Factory race parts? Nissin race pads?

They are the Buell Rev B part of the original Rev A pads that came on my bike. I am not sure what the SE7 compound is, but they seem to work much better than the original and they are Buell parts. The stock number is a kit that includes the four front brake pads for $117 and some change.
