Not sure which pegs you refer to, but the Lightning and Ulysses pegs both have a 1-inch drop and work fine on 1125s.
I think the Lightning pegs might take a little filing to fit.
Uly pegs mount right up, with a bit of a gap at the top. No mods are necessary tho.

I have black Uly pegs(earlier had silver- see profile pic) on my 08 1125R, my feet love them.

They should work, pretty standard design for the fit.
If they fit an XB, they will fit an 1125.
At the very worst, some peg-sets require a little filing to lay flat.

Many parts are interchangeable, XB to 1125, pegs are in that group.

I put one inch drop pegs on my R, it was off of a new buell, but I didn't notice which model. It went right on, about five minutes a side. Cost about twenty dollars each.

I put on the XB12R pegs. They don't have a 1" drop. They worked out great, and no rubber insert.

We've got them, they're not quite as cheap as the stockers but if you want traction and a large flat foot area then... We don't see many track days up here in Montana but these pegs are super comfortable on the street!
