I need to get those. My swing arm is all scuffed up from my boots...especially my track boots.

$100!? WTF.

I like CF as much as the next guy, but in this case I'd much rather see something a lot cheaper and replaceable. Like for example a piece of clear vinyl that serves the same purpose.

When I buy carbon fiber, it's to reduce weight by using it to replace a heavier plastic part; not to ADD weight by putting it where there was nothing there before.

I agree with Jaimec...CF is for weight saving not "bling." If your going to spend 100 bucks...just tape a 50 to each side of the swing arm. You'll protect the swingarm and have ready cash for the roadhouse. Besides, the CF will scuff and scratch...its not indestructible. I thought about using plastic sticky but thought the clear plastic might start to look like a dirty smudge unless constantly replaced. However, I have used stuff from techspec...

http://www.techspec-usa.com/products/gs_buell.html

It applies great and is a lot cheaper than CF.

The problem with the tech spec stuff for this application is that it is made for you to GRIP. For this application you want something with low friction so your boots don't get dragged up and down with the swingarm...

Well...I succumbed to the power of the Carbon Fiber bling factor (and swing arm protection) and ordered a set. Damn you BMC for coming out with all these cool farkles!

www.decalfx.com..... this will save u tons of cash and ull have extra to paste all over the thing.

this is what im planing(pondering) on covering my blue frame with. They say with heat u can work it around curves and stuff. but im a little worried since the 1125r frame has two different profiles by the pods itll have to be pretty awsome to work and look good.
