Hey, does anyone have the memo that was put out about the instrument clusters? I've noticed my fuel light come on on some random times when the tank was full and have read about others that have had this happen who got theirs replaced with a newer one. Figure I might just do the same.

my dealership just ordered mine cause my bike was doing the same thing. I learned about it on here and told them that was the problem but they didnt listen until i rasied hell with them. They kept my bike for three weeks before they stayed on the phone with buell tech and they told them to change it. Good luck all i can tell you is to stay on thier ass.

Shame it requires another new IC, but...
I'll be talking to the SM tomorrow about a new one too.
I'll let him know what I've found and let him talk to Buell Tech.

Only issue is, the fuel level sensor has a range of 850-1400 ohms.
Mine reads 2200 at 38 dF in the garage.
I started getting system errors right after getting a new IC

I never see LF and CEL when the sensor's resistance is in range.

Doesn't seem to affect "reserve" either, I'm adding 4.1 gal at LF light coming on.

Zack: I also had my IC replaced and continue to have the fuel light / CEL issue along with a code thrown.

I'll bring it up again to the dealer tomorrow when I go buy a heated grip kit.

Zac4mac - as my earlier response my 1125R was doing exactly the same with identical resistance values for the thermistor that responds to fuel level at about the same air temp - I am away from home at work all week but first thing Friday evening I will turn on the 1125R ignition and see if the issue is occuring or not and advise next week. All I can say is that that the reflash that was done on early last Saturday solved the problem so far.

Dunno, just called HD/B CS. no joy.
I am told I have the current flash.
CS guy just ran me around, obviously knew little specifically about the 11, plenty about HD's CS process tho.

She has to get the kick-stand/dipstick/fuel-vent recall done soon.
I have it checked then.
I decided to do my own clutch cover replacement this week while I'm off work.
