Well its over. Or you could say it’s finally beginning.

Last Friday after some infuriating calling to BCS to get them to send the last of the paper work back to Mancuso, I got my new 08 25R.

I’m amazed how different it rides, sounds and handles from my other bike. Go figure the clutch works…

I got all the aftermarket stuff on and with a lot of patients I even got my Bitubo steering Dampener to work with only a minimum amount of interfeirance side to side. If you have one you know what I’m talking about.

This is like falling in love again, Man talk about Monster torque, this is great!!! I have a stadium with ½ mile of straight concrete that is about a ¼ mile wide which at night becomes my personal flat track. You can get up to about 95mph before shutting it down become dangerous. It’s a blast until the security guy kicks you out.

Thanks Court, for all the help, I’m not sure I would ever want to do it again but with your help it got done this time. Your still batting a 1000 I bet.

Kudos to the team at Buell.

This has been an amazing year and I could relate over 250 stories of incredible, light years beyond the confines of "the box".

The staff at Buell has proven themselves . . . well "Different in Every Sense".

Thanks for the kind words and I'll make sure they land in the proper place.

Ride safely and have a Merry Christmas.

Court

Bobby,

As I've been raising 4 boys for the last 25 yrs with very little $ left over for toys, this is the first bike I've ever owned.

I've ridden all my life but got the bug BAD earlier this year for a Harley cruiser,... so I thought.

I first saw an SG which fit my 5'6'' frame like a glove w/ great HP and Torque #'s.

But over in the corner there was this beastly looking thing w/ unbelievable wt-hp #'s that, I kept asking my self why not???

I spent a lot of time reading and looking but it finally came down to, ''If Beull was the first to get the torque curve to be flat and how to get a water cooled
v-twin to make that much hp,'' then what else were they going to be ahead of the game on?

Not to mention, it looked like everyone else was playing follow the leader on several of Buell's design cues.

Once that became apparent there was no real decision left except, where to sign.

So, here we are. I'm amazed at how easy this bike is to handle in cornering, maneuvering across the seat, and then there is that feeling when the front end comes up in a totally predictable manner, with power that is smooth, not jerky or abrupt. It makes even new guys feel confident, as it sticks so well when it's laid over and throttle applied.
