Just came back from a quick 100 mile spin on some of my favorite backroads here on Long Island. Although it's a cold day, I don't feel any more heat coming off the bike than I used to from my old XB12Ss.

The engine ALWAYS runs smoothly and cleanly no matter what rpm I'm running. No surging, hesitation or bucking whatsoever.

Just wanted to thank all of those "pioneers" that bought the 2008 model and suffered through all the pain, reflashes and updates that made MY bike possible.

Thanks! I LOVE this thing!!

I would give some credit to the early pioneers who worked with Buell. A quick search through the archives tales the tale of evolution. Flash after flash, taillight after taillight. I think the owners of the 2008's are the real hero's.

If the bike was released this year vs last year imagine the difference in the public perception and press write ups.

It was a gas figuring things out before the documentation came out.
There was frustration, waiting for an Anony to clue us in and Big Joy when one did.

Best of all tho, we have been riding this awesome machine for a year now.

Can't say for anyone else, but it was my PLEASURE!!!

+1 on what ZAC said. I don't feel like i have sacrificed or gone through any kind of hardship. I've just had fun with the beast for a good 14K miles.

I had more headaches with my BMW R1100S. It's problems never got resolved. The niggles I've had with the 1125R have been promptly resolved.

If anything, BMC is the hero. The fun you are having Jaime is because BMC stands behind their product. Oh and yeah Big Congratulations!.

I think it has been a unique experience for us early adapters. Having an influence whether thru Badweb postings, service department communication and/or direct correspondence with BMC customer service is pretty neat. We can never really know how much we helped or sped up a process, but I think it's safe to say we contributed.

And I think the ultimate prop needs to goto BMC. It appears that they are listening and responding accordingly. What other company can a couple dozen fanatical Badwebers have such an influence? Really, this may be a one time experience. I have enjoyed the ride...and continue to do so everyday!

I've been enjoying my bike for almost a year now. No real 'problems', IMHO - barely bumps in the road. This thing has been a winner since day one.

I have definitely enjoyed finding out all of the kinks and quirks on this bike. I think this bike is awesome. I have had many of the problems, but have been able to use it as a daily driver for the last 9 months. I bought the bike because the write-up seemed like everything I was looking for in a bike. I was not let down. I can not wait to see what the future holds. I am definitely a dedicated Buell customer from here out.

Mike

That's an accurate statement and in a much more ordered manner than perhaps you will ever know in concert with some dedicated test folks and Buell employees who bought (with their own money) 1125R's.

Amazing and unique stuff from an amazing and unique company.

I've seen 5 things in the past 3 weeks that have amazed even me.

Times are good and a huge credit is due owners.

I am damn proud to be a Buell owner and consider it a privilege to be associated with everyone here. I can't wait to see what comes out of East Troy in the next half dozen years.
