Hiiihaaaaaaaaaaaa, finally we did it....

After a long experiment we made our prototype 1125 exhaust, after testing a lot of different aftermarket exhaust, we now really did it.

All the figures and numbers are measured on the rear wheel, are made with the same bike, under the same conditions, and uses the same amount of Fuel and the same ignition map with a fully programmed ECM from Buell.

We tested also different header setups, and different header length. And we made a slip-on, with an inner work that was removable to create the ultimate torque eater.

This exhaust uses no filling material. It uses 3 pressure chambers to get the right flow.

The sound is nice we have a movie also if it's not good we make a new one, it sounds like an other brand 2 cylinder (-;

it pulls directly 100NM of torque from 2000 RPM. until 9000 RPM and peak torque is between 5000 and 8000 RPM.

We are so happy with the results and all the testing work.

I would say special thanks to my friend the welder his name is Kull, who spend a lot of hours trying to get our results in a nice and good looking prototype exhaust.

And a special thank to Martin my mate, for all the ideas about what to make and how.

I post the photo and movie later..

This is our prototype, and I hope we can soon ship the first exhaust. Off course we need some test drivers who race Joel; I send you an exhaust and a fuel map for testing.

Man we are happy. I only made 1 mistake in my enthousiasm, and made the dyno runs, in a folder from another exhaust brand that's why it says blaster )-;

Here are some pictures:

And the graphs:

Here is the TM exhaust (TM=Twin Motorcycles) compared with the SARON

Here is the TM exhaust (TM=Twin Motorcycles) compared with the REMUS.

Here is the TM exhaust (TM=Twin Motorcycles) compared with the BUELL STOCK exhaust.

Here is the TM exhaust (TM=Twin Motorcycles) compared with all the other exhaust.

How about a back to back dyno (after AFV learn) test on the stock ecu...without tuning?

Or does this pipe only work with tuning?

Best of luck Easyrider! I hope it all works out! : )

i just saw ur exhaust. i have one thing i see that could help out the looks.
it would help the looks if u extended the out side of the can further up to the front of the bike. makin the cylinder longer. keepin the business end chamber the same size just making it visually longer. im really excited about ur exhaust, i can only imagine the power increase!

Sly, we have to test this, maybe you want to help us out here... When the first prototypes are ready I love to send you one. With my bike we are going to take the engine out now for tuning. We need to build the racing engine this winter and not much time left.

Jmr, for people who race it's for free we only charge the cost for shipping the ECM back to you.

That's nice Dris.

As per Sly - how will it do for us mortals without tuning?
Looks and sounds VERY nice.

jmr, about the design, I know there are people who can do amazing stuff with tools for editing pictures. Maybe somebody can make a design, and we can try if everybody agrees to let the design look like that, everything is open for now.

i like how it tapers toward the front, if that could keep goin further up to the front i think it would help the looks. it looks good rate now too though. it has that purposeful look, tough, basic to the point look. thats a buell for u, and ur exhaust already shows it off.

Dris,

Very nice. I like that torque curve. Looks like a big increase right where you would be rolling on the gas exiting a corner.

How is the weight compared to other slip-ons?

Sound is great! Nice job it is a lot of work to develop your own exhaust specially since you made you own headers.

Those graphs are pretty, even if the pipe at this point is not. But Easy has done it right--performance first with looks a secondary thing. My kind of pipe. This has potential. I too would like to see this pipe with no tuning back to back with a stock setup.

Joel, now the exhaust is ready, ik can take the engine out and start on the heads, ik work together with a company for all the measurments we first make a prototype of the head and start playing with the the size of the intake and exhaust valves for measure on a special flow bench, and then we can program the machine for porting the heads , then the cams still a long way tot go

Easy, don't listen to 'em about the looks (altho it's human nature); I'm thinking that, priority-wise, an aftermarket 1125 muffler needs to be first, full of v-twin rumble; second, give a power/torque increase; and third, be a lot lighter over the stocker. And yours has the benefit of routing the exhaust away from the tyre.

Heck, finally the excuse for putting a matching belly pan in place (there will be one, right?).

I like the "LOOK" of her curves. Her plumbing is of no concern.

Dris - I'll be in touch... not for myself but a legitimate race operation ... maybe. 2009 is going to require planning.

So am I reading the graph right?

100 Nm = 73 lbs of torque

119 Nm (peak) = 87 lbs of torque

Even with tuning that's pretty impressive.

Slaughter, OKE

Fresno, I know, that's also the exhaust, and making fuel maps is my daily job for buell's only (SHIT WHAT A WORSE LIVE i HAVE)

Redscuell, ours is made of materials we had in the welding shop, didn't even think about weight issue. More in terms of pulses and pressure rooms. As we are going to make a prototype as it should be, I can tell you the weight compared with the stocker. I just put it on the balance and tell you what it is.
