G'day Paul (Chameleon)

The pipe is the Remus It's not as loud as the D&D but the bike develops some serious power with i'm really happy with it.

The belt broke first time out after putting it on hit a wet patch on the road and it just snapped.

I made the pics small hoping no-one would notice it was just a pushbike.

Regards Brett

Tim, I remember seeing those skull helmets on Ebay a few years ago, I dared my wife to get me one ,she didn't fall for it.

I'll be doing that soon too, Neal. I've got 6400 miles on the second rear, still have the OEM front.
I always do a good burnout the day before I get a new rear tire.

The only one I got so far... too busy riding!

Denoided, heated grips, and the fancy airbox trim that you can't see. New mirrors, turn signals, and the hard luggage goes on tonight.

Same setup I have from my Firebolt (the tail on the CR is a HUGE plus for me). It clicks right into where the passenger seat goes, but I have to have the new, shorter turn signals on for it to fit (and I need to hack that helmet lock hook off as well.

I'll post pictures - you'll see.

Jesus Chameleon, do you really wear that helmet with the things growing out of it?
Yes I do.

Brett (Tasmaniac): Thanks for the confirmation. I would jump all over that pipe if it had dual out. Looks so unbalanced with the fat pipe on the right side only.

I snapped a belt at around 5,500 miles. Seemed to be due to expansion from sand/dirt intrusion. I bought the bike in the middle of winter and wasn't going to just have it sit in the garage for the next couple months. Going off-road that one time probably didn't help either.

For Paul(Chameleon) and any others interested. Here, below, is my bike with the bags on. Nelson-Rigg silver streak mini-sport. Easy on on off (one minute) and its surprising just how much you can stuff in these "little bags". Not for an extended trip but enough for an overnight at a motel. We (my son and I) sometimes do a local 400 mile day and back home the same day. Nice to have drinks, snacks, camera, wet weather gear and other things along. Although when we want to tour we trailer the bikes and ride the local area, have the comfort of the vehicle while driving and motels and restaurants for after a nice ride. Great! Also like I said in another post my bike is a transformer; canyon carver mostly and sport tourer sometimes.

Bob,

Where and how much was the lower fairing?

Also,

Was it difficult to install the rim stripping to look professional?

Shaun, I've posted quite a bit about this before, do a search, but it is a www.catalystracingcomposites.com" lower available from them or as I did got it from Glendale HD/Buell in California. Its cost is $226.00 and shipping from Glendale ran me about $40.00. They really packed it well. Rim striping was not too hard. I went slowly and followed the rim edge.

Finally, took the time for a ride in the hills.
I tried to be nice to the tourists, a couple of them even pulled over and let me pass.
