I was at High Country HD dropping off my bike for service and noticed an 1125R with orange wheels in the service bay. Was it yours?

I believe that would be his. I remember him talking about putting those on his.

Yup.

She's home now, or in front of HC when I'm at work.
Max put in the new parts and got her buttoned up in six hours Sunday.
I rode her home.

My Camaro's there too, till I can get her home.

I was hoping to have my ride by this weekend, dropped her off on Thursday. Still no word. Good riding days are quickly coming to an end...

Since this post is directed toward Zac i'll pose a question i have for him!
Was there any indication of the trouble you had in the valvetrain prior to your visual inspection? i.e. Noise or runability issues?

I thought I was low on oil, valvetrain was noisier, on the trip to Homecoming.
I pulled into a rest stop in Iowa and I was about a half quart low.
Ran into a guy with a tanker full of Mobil 1 - 15w40. : )

Dunno if that's when it happened, if it was a quick or slow process.

I looked at the cam and follower today with a 4.5X stereo microscope.
The follower has one little pit and the cam looks like it was polishing back - it was healing...

It's all fixed now.
