Any chance of getting a thread where folks list:

VIN (last 4 digits) Right Failed Left Failed
Dealer
1234
Yes
No
Hal's - New Berlin WI

Could be helpful. It'd be nice to get together a quick response while this is resolved.

Can someone connect an ammeter to one of the rear signals that works and tell me what comes up? PM me. The regulator they're using should have no problem with any surges or fluctuations in power. I think I know what LEDs they're using. I'd like to know if they're running right at the edge of those LEDs' maximum power ratings.

Spoke to Buell in Wisconsin today. I was again opening a case on my fourth return to get turn signals taken care of (Urgh!) Anyway, Susie told me that the factory just received a huge order of new replacement LED rear indicators. She even called my local dealers service manager to tell him to place the order for my replacement now.

I hope this finally takes care of my problem and I can move onto to kickstand springs, front brake line replacement, dipstick, 3rd flash and 5th gear jet. Am I missing anything??

Keep you posted

Those are all the updates so far...

Buell is doing an outstanding job in Customer Service. I salute them for the continual efforts with updates, etc. I don't have to worry, I am being cared for--- makes me proud to own a Buell, and nothing like another update to freshen up the bike! : )

Ergo, by the time my '08 is fully updated, it may be a couple steps ahead of the '09! hee hee...

0702/yes/yes HD of Pensacola, FL.

Had it in this weekend for service, they stated both LED's are bad (the bulbs burned out I guess). Haven't decided if they're going to cover it yet. If they say no, I'll have them call Buell HQ to get their pp's smacked.

They re-flashed (the 3rd update) and are waiting on parts for the newest product programs...can't wait to ride her.

1800 / yes / yes - anyone know a good Buell dealer in Orange County, CA area? i'm assuming 'yes' means i'm having the turn signal problem on both left + right rear signals.

cheers,
chris
