OK, so I don't like the ergonomics of my 1125r. Maybe I'm too old, tired or just stupid, it doesn't matter.

What if we put a 1125cr top triple clamp on with the accessory upright bars and the longer cables & hoses. Then we put on a set of XBs footpegs. I think this would get me into a position I'd like. The question I have for Anony is would this fit without interfering with the fairing and can the brake and shift levers accommodate the lower XB pegs?

The 1" lower accessory pegs work great with a little rasp work. I am curious about the top tree and bars myself. I would rather use the CR tree and accessory bars than go with the Convertibar, but I will use what works best.
I am also waiting to see if the CR rear pulley and belt can be used. Talk about a Deals Gap terror.

I have had the XBS style lower pegs on since almost day as others here. No difficulties with the foot controls. Also someone here has already put after market bars on that move the bars up and back before the factory out with the CR.

Look here for my experiments with convertibars: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/290 431/354781.html

I am also waiting to see if the CR rear pulley and belt can be used.

I'm guessing it would probably fit, but the CR swingarm is hair longer than the R to keep the belt geometry correct (this is from an anony's post).

Thanks for the input guys. I did check into the convertibars. I'm afraid that I might not have confidence in them when doing a bit of mild stunting. If they move you are on the ground. I also think they look a bit hokey to me so I'm not going to go that route. I've asked Liberty for price & availability of the cr triple clamp.

Steve:

FWIW, even for stunting beyond mild they have a proven product. But it's your decision.

Even with tube bars I have bent/ deformed them with less force than what I have applied to the Convertibars.

YRMV, it's just an option.

I think I would rather have a handlebar failure during mild stunting that while carving some twisties real hard ; ).
