so it struck me the other day while riding, that i didnt know how to use the hazard flashers. i didnt particularly remember anything from the owners manual mentioning it either... so i read it again, and to my dismay, there is nothing on it in the table, the index or around the same pages that show you how to use the turn signals.

am i just dumb or do the 1125's not have a hazard flashers??

From what I understand, all the lights will flash after a tip-over, but there are not "hazard" lights.

Well at least the flasher indicator lights flash after tip over. I was too busy to notice if the lights really flashed!

The old style controls on the 1.0"s had a flasher function. If you held both turn signal buttons they would act as 4-way flashers ie: hazard flashers. Since Buell went to the single turn signal button, we have not had flashers.

wierd!!

yes my S2 has hazard flashers, i suppose thats why i find it odd that my 1125 doesnt!

when i tested out the tipover sensor (), i didnt notice any 4 ways going off; just the indicator on the instrument cluster

Well after I went down and the bike slid down the road my 4 ways went off. It was kind of a surreal moment, I was like "wow they really do work like someone else mentioned on this board". Meaning the 4 way flashers coming on that is.

I took the tip sensor off and tilted it sideways, all 4 flashers started going in unison.
Easier than tipping the bike over and then picking it back up...

I wonder if a switch could be installed in the tip sensor wiring to simulate a tip over to be used as a 4 way flasher switch.

I'm going to go look,,,
