I'm bumping this one up. I keep coming back to gawk. Looks killer. The white really sets off the blue frame and wheels.

Wow! Something about the white 1125 looks amazing. I guess it is good they didn't come out in white first. I would have had to have one cause I love the look in white.

Any pics of the tailsection of that superbike? I can't quite read the french site too well.

Love the white! That's a great paint-job, man.

Although, I still think I'd like to see an orange 1125R : )

That video is impressive at minimum. that bike really launched under the straps. The only question I have is why did the rear of the bike go up? That was something I use to see on the drive shaft bikes?

The bike pushes at ground level, the mass of the bike tries to stay still. Since the CG of the bike is over the pivot point of the trailing arm the suspension extends to let the tire go where it wants, forward and under the bike. This is what transfers weight from the front tire to the back as you accelerate through a corner to keep your ideal 40/60 weight balance and maximize your traction.

You see squat in most cars because they don't use this sort of trailing arm suspension. Good drag cars are set up with adjustable trailing arm multi-link suspensions so they can tune this effect and get the desired weight transfers.

BlackSnow- really still in the fog. What you explained makes perfect sense. But I was always under the impression that chains and belts collapsed the rear suspension where as the drive expanded. Is it just because being strapped down makes the difference?
