I'm looking for close-up pics of the 1125R mirrors, specifically showing first how the head pivots on the end of the shaft, then how the shaft mounts to the fairing. Also, will the mirror head rotate parallel with the shaft, or does it have to remain somewhat bent or dogeared or angled relative to the centerline of the shaft body? If that looks good then I might be looking for a pair of mirrors to play with, scratched is fine but no dents and no broken glass or plastic, wiring intact for the integrated turn signals. Free is better than cheap, cheap is better than not cheap, too much and I'll play with a different idea since I'm probably going to be hacking and cutting on them some to do what I'm thinking of. But first I'll need to see pics, so thanks to anyone who has a camera handy. | ||

Mine are in pieces in the parts bucket. Worthless as tits on a nun. The head shell is immovable on the stalk. The stalk is riveted at the base, no adjustment other than beating it with a hammer to tighten it. The head shell is "nutted" to the stalk and the nut is known to loosen on some. The mirror itself (on mine) vibrated so much it was useless. The turn signals work GREAT. YMMV Zack | ||
