Hey guys and gals,

So I ordered some tail light housings from the local dealer and some from Buellerandy the other day, as I was down to 4 (now down to negative 1) but I just got word that they are back ordered for atleast a month

Figured this would be my next step, to ask anyone who has purchased an XB Light and forgot about the $20 refund if they would still like to participate? (or anyone who has a spare they'd be willing to sell)

(Buell XB and 1125R models only, as shown in picture.)
http://www.xblights.net/faqs.html
(FAQ #1)

On many (most) of my orders, the buyer has said they would be sending the stocker in for the refund, but as life goes on, things get forgotten. (happens all the time, belive-you-me!)

So if anyone has forgotten and would like to still participate, please let me know

Thank You!

P.S sorry to take up valuable Buell conversing space, but figured it can't hurt to ask!

Does anyone know if the clear lens with red LED is legal in CA?

Do you have any plans for a fender eliminator (including LED tail lamp, license plate LEDs and relocation of the stock signals) type set up for the 1125r? I really like the set up that you have in your pictures on the site.

Fresnobuell:
Not sure if the Clear lens is legal there or not. But I highly doubt its legal!
But I can't recall ever hearing a biker (even the ricers) getting pulled over with the clear lens. but it could happen I guess.

Andella:
I currently have no plans on a kit.
I have contacted a member on here about building one, as he has done it himself and selling it on my site, but no response just yet?????

Robert, I'm on a roadtrip but as soon as I get back I will send you my shell.
It's been sitting by the front door for well over a month.

My apologies, it'll be on the way shortly.
As for making a kit, I no longer have access to the equipment I used to make mine, so " no can do".

Zack

Robert - send me a note at jgoetz@hdoffrederick.com - I'll see if we have any old XB taillights from the race bikes laying around. I'm off till Friday, but an email there will remind me : )

Fresno-

The clear lens with red LEDs needs a red reflector to be legal in CA. If you do the fender eliminator on the bike, the rear reflector is missing, hence not legal. If you have a red reflector that you can put on the back of the bike, all good.

Yep, those three things that dont fit any bike. Unfortunately, I cant take them off or do some of the trick stuff people do to their bikes because i would get in trouble.....

Zack:
no problem, I fully understand about that little thing called life :-)
it sure makes me forgot lots of stuff.
Sorry to hear about the tail end kits.
I was hoping that would be a go, I know they would sell! :-)
Go any where exciting? take the bike?
Thanks again!!

Ratbuell:
Thanks, i'll get that email sent! I really appreciate it! and I'm still trying to get the S2 light going! hit a road block though :-(
same road block for the Uly, trying to figure out the best way to cover up all the internals, so its neat looking.
Don't want to look down at the light and see wires and heat sinks and stuff.......

Thanks again guys!
This is exactly why I love BadWeB!!!!

Ratbuell:

got a reply saying "can not deliver due to spam filter"
Since my email is a business account, I think that throws a red flag on the spam side of things.

Zack:
I have a new address for you to send the housing to, i'll email it right now!!!

Thanks!!!
