When I get done with my tour in japan in July i will be taking delivery of my 1125r in Milwaukee Wisconsin and soon after I will be riding it to Parris Island South Carolina. I am 6' 1" what will i be needing to make this voyage as comfortable as possible. I will be having a friend driving my truck behind me(somewhere behind me) so bags aren't a necessity nor will they be on the bike. Oh yeah i will be posting a rough itinerary sometime in July for anyone interested in accompanying me at any point during this trip and also for any suggestions on roads i need to hit on my way. The dragon is already planned and actually going to be a 2 day stop.

I'll let you know in June. I'll be buying one in FL then and riding it back to CO with my parents. I'm stationed in CO. This is of course assuming my leave gets approved. All is looking good now.

I'll be making a run down to Texas later this week.
There and back plus some side trips should add 2500 or so miles to the clock.
Got my saddle-bags yesterday, waiting on a set of HIDs.

I'm gonna have fun, posting on the road from my iPhone.
This is a milk-run for this Summer's trip to E. Troy.

Only a matter of days, the HIDs showed up today.
Did a dry run with the bags stuffed with couch pillows, went fine.

Time to rock!

Nice I wish I was going to be back in the states in time but it doesn't look like I'm going to make it. As it stands now the only party I will be able to see is the Harley 105. I think I might just skip that one too and take my sweet time on my way south. maybe do the dragon and smokey mountains national park for 3 or 4 days. How is the seat? how long before i am going to want to put pillows in my pants?
