Took delivery of #402 today!!!!! Months of waiting over. This motorcycle is awesome! The power, even under break-in conditions, is fantastic. I can't wait to finish the break-in. The only gripe (and it is a minor one) that I would have with it is that the mirrors are terrible, to say they vibrate would be an understatement. I will have to start messing with them to see if they can be improved in some way. Bike is very comfortable, put 60 miles on today (When I bought my 2004 GSXR-750 I was somewhere on the 5 mile ride home from the dealer when I decided a new seat was a must).

Congrats Andella.
Sure is sweet finally getting your baby.
See if your dealer will replace your mirrors.
They told me they'd replace mine if they don't stay put at highway speeds.
Other than that, mashing the rivet in a hydraulic arbor press to get a little more spring pressure should help.
Also thought about replacing the rivet with a bolt and double nut.
Then I could tighten it till it works, then lock it down.
I like the design, but not the buzz.
I can see better out of my '82 FXWG's mirrors at 70 mph.

Hey - I was Navy, but it was Gator Navy, so

Turns out that the left side mirror housing is not properly attached to the stem. I will have to get that replaced. Much easier to diagnose problems in the daylight
