Well PPHD and CSHD have the 1125r in. One in each store. I stopped by to look at the 1125r at PPHD. I asked how much and was told "14,000", I then asked what MSRP was and was told "they are a MSRP dealer". Math was never my strong subject in school. I did not buy one but they did take me into the shop to look at it and the tech was setting it up. I thought the display was really cool when he started it up.

F_skinner ... your math is correct and Pikes Peak HD/Colorado Springs HD are full of sh*t. We all know what msrp is on the 1125R and it is no where near $14,000!!!! "MSRP dealership" my a$$!!!! They tried to pull the same crap with me months ago when i was looking to put money down on the bike. For those of you who don't know, PPHD and CSHD have the same owners.

This was just the icing on the cake, and after being told by one of their managers to go find a better deal somewhere else ... I did. Oh, and this WOULD have been the second Buell I bought with them in as many years. Never again...

Anyways, after being treated like garbage, I went to Rocky Mountain HD in Littleton. Got the bike out the door for $13,113 (includes gap ins). Also got the first service for free, 2 Buell shirts, and delivery to the home later this week. Needless to say, you can definitely tell which dealership actually cares about customer service. I will take my business back to Rocky Mountain HD.

Congrats Jason!
Sounds all too familiar from "the old days".
I got mine thru Reed at Sun, but spend most of my time at High Country in Frederick, both are good shops.
I think High Country's a little stronger on Buells than any other shop I've been to.
Bought my first Buell at their satellite store in Boulder.
Both are now gone(bike and store).
Never been to RMHD, might have to go further south and check them out...

Jason, thanks for the info. I am well aware that they are owned by the same person. The second part of the story is this: I called CSHD later in the day and was told they have one but unless I was serious and put money down they did not want to go through the hassle of bringing it down to the shop for me to look at because it was in their warehouse..... I asked how much out the door and they said around 12K... This is a used car salesman tactic but that is ok. I did not plan on buying one anyway. It really makes me mad when they treat the Buell product as a "hassle".

Congrats on the new 1125r. I am very interested in seeing a couple on the street. Hopefully we will have a few in the area soon.

Frank

I read somewhere here that BMC doesn't sell units numbered below 100.

Well High Country H-D/Buell got their second and third 1125r yesterday and, behold, one was numbered ...000090.

Anyone being told $14,000 is an MSRP-based price for an 1125r down south ought to take the drive/ride to see us. You better have a strong discipline though, or leave your check book home, otherwise you might be the newest owner of an amazing motorcycle.

Northern Colorado's only Buell dealer, High Country even has a bike set up for demo rides even.

Ride one before you buy one, what a concept!

Hey Jammin. I was curious if you rode the 1125 yet since your tall like me. Are you still sellin bikes out there? Is Bones still there?
I met you the last time I was out there. I was the one that had the Zero gravity windscreen and you were curious.

I havent been out there since I had my 5k done(may) . After the direct link tune it still pings. I'm due for my 10k as soon as I get out there.
Is Kevin still in service? Sorry kinda go off topic.

Yup, still here, Bones too
Still 6' 4" too, Bones, not so much
Keven is here too, so be sure to discuss the pinging with him. If you e-mail me direct with details, I would be happy to pass them on and get discussion going before you come in on what might be next to do.

I rode the snot outta the 1125r on the Miller Motorsport closed road course in Sept. Well, I rode it hard for me, the bike kinda said, "is that the best you got?"

I've also rode our first bike which is set up for Demo rides. Only a few clicks though, weather not too conducive to riding yet.

Thanks Dave. When it gets warmer and I have the $$$ for the 10k I'll get a hold of you and let you know the history with my Uly. It still feels like a lean condition to me.

So how is the Uly off road club going? I would of joined up but I am not the most confident rider.

Still need to come out and sit on one of those there 1125's!
